Scandals with WikiLeaks carry on with disclosure regarding Cia documents

The release of documents pertaining to the war in Afghanistan by WikiLeaks has been the reason for an excellent deal of controversy. WikiLeaks maintains details would be never posted that would put lives in danger. Nevertheless, it still have a lot to tell people about. The Central Intelligence Agency has just had a top secret document published via WikiLeaks, about the potential fallout if the United States should be seen as an exporter of terrorism. The Pentagon and also the Central Intelligence Agency decry the release. Both also uphold the document isn’t that sensitive.

New Central Intelligence Agency file on WikiLeaks

An internal Central Intelligence Agency report, which was top secret, was publicized via WikiLeaks, as outlined by CNN. The report explores possible exporting of terrorism by the U.S. through foreign policy and other avenues. It is entitled “What if Foreigners see the United States as ‘Exporter of Terrorism?’”. It isn’t known how the document was obtained. Examples are highlighted for instance the Irish Republican Army receiving aid from Irish Americans, Jewish-American support for extremist Israeli terrorist groups and so forth. The main focus of the report is the potential ramifications should the United States be perceived as a creator and exporter of terrorism.

Typical for Red Cell

The CIA has a group called Red Cell. The report is certainly theirs. Essentially, they take a look at the flip side of anything the United States of America says or does. More or less, the job of Red Cell is to take a look at things from a different point of view. The CIA is not happy with the leak. Neither is the Pentagon. Authorities have admitted the record poses no significant threat but that all paperwork from the Defense Department or Cia should be removed and returned.

Founder of WikiLeaks in strange lawful challenge

The founder and editor of WikiLeaks is Julian Assange. He is no stranger to scandal. Recently, he was arrested in Sweden for rape. Since he was not in Sweden at the time, the arrest was in absentia. The warrant was revoked by a judge the day following the charges were filed. Assange attributes the charges to governments’ colluding to smear him within the press. He has been in lawful trouble for hacking in Australia, his home country.
